Overcoming fear and anxiety by tuning into the present moment.
If you think about it the present moment is really all we have, yet we spend so much time thinking about our future, the past and the things that have happened to us… wishing we could re-live one moment, looking for the next moment rather than appreciating this moment.
“Stress is caused by being here but wanting to be there.”
“You can spend your whole life imagining ghosts, worrying about the pathway of the future, but all there will ever be is whats happening here and the decisions we make in this moment, that are based on either love or fear.”
I recently have been going through a huge transitional period in my life which in the future I know will be for my own benefit however during this time, I really felt the transition and it can be quite scary and painful/emotional to go through. I felt very lost and confused but bringing myself into the present moment and accepting everything, suddenly my anxiety and fear went away and being present in the moment lead me to move forward, stop wasting my time being anxious and allowed my self to de-tach and just grow.
I also recently used Ekhart Tolle “The Power Of Now” as a great reminder of how powerful the present moment actually is.

It is the most empowering feeling. It does give you your power back of yourself especially when you can’t control what is happening and other peoples behaviour towards you.

Using Presence for a better life:
Ekhart explains that becoming mindful and present in your body at all times, you will transform and change the quality of your life, negativity will not affect you anymore and you will attract better circumstances.
“You may not be happy but you will be at peace.”
Any situation that happens, remain silent and calm and you will eventually feel at ease. Trust that everything is happening to help and guide you in the right direction.

Be present. Let go and accept the situation, trust that everything is happening for the best. Some of the worst times in our lives lead us to the best places

Don’t resist change by resisting or forcing a situation that is happening.
